Trille Floral Studio

My beautiful new friend Nicole La Pierre from Halifax stopped by to capture me in my new studio. These painterly photos illustrate exactly what I want my brand to represent. They’re artful, romantic and thoughtful and I am so grateful to have met Nicole and for her to share her art with me.

This space was a real labour of love, it took about 7 coats of paint to get it white (I know painting over wood is highly controversial!). My custom cabinets, shelves and table were made by Daryl McCrory Finish Carpentry. We worked together to design something that was functional with a bit of an old world feel to it. I knew I wanted corbels on my work table, but I had no idea Daryl was going to carve Trilliums into them. It was an incredibly special surprise! He also crafted wooden coverings to magnetically attach to where the wheels on my table would show. An absolute artist! I so appreciate all the time and detail he put into making my studio a space I feel inspired and excited to work in.

I’ll leave a “before” photo of the space at the bottom.
